Sales Representative

Location:  Hartsville, Tennessee

 

As a Sales Representative for Mueller Refrigeration, the selected candidate will be responsible for learning and promoting a technical product line that is sold to manufacturing companies throughout the U.S., primarily involved in the HVAC/R industry.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

-An aptitude to understand the design and application of existing and future products and how they are manufactured by the company. 

-Ability to incorporate technical knowledge into the selling process so as to become a resource to the customer thereby creating value with sales visits and regular communications. 

-Must exhibit the ability to develop long term value relationships with accounts and evaluate new opportunities that are developing in the market.    

-Candidate must have experience selling a technical product line, and being an interface between customers and factory operations, demonstrating the ability to work with factory lead times, customer schedules, and new product development launches. 

-Should be able to travel up to 50% of the time, throughout the U.S. with a combination of reoccurring assigned accounts (approximately 85%), and new prospective accounts (approximately 15%). 

-Candidate should have a history of progressive selling capabilities and achievements.

-Preferably a degree in business, engineering, or science, with experience in account and territory management.
