Location:  Hartsville, Tennessee

Job Responsibilities:        

-Reads and interprets engineering blueprints, methods sheets, gage list and work order to determine required tooling and operational sequences.

-Installs and adjusts alignment of tooling such as drills, cutters, dies and holding devices, using templates, measuring instruments, and hand tools.

-Verifies machine settings such as feeds and speeds, applying knowledge of shop mathematics.

-Monitors machine operation and moves controls to align and adjust position of work pieces.

-Capable of understanding and editing existing G-code programs and offsets.

-Inspects first-piece and verifies conformance at machine setup.

-Performs basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment.

-Communicates quality, safety or machinery problems to Supervisor.

Qualifications:        

-Minimum of 3 years of experience setting up CNC mills and/or lathes in a metalworking environment.  

-Technical education preferred.
