R & D Laboratory Technician

Location:  Hartsville, Tennessee

 

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative individual to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will play an important role in the development and analysis of new products. This position requires a strong foundation in laboratory procedures and quality control.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

-Plans sequence of testing for instruments and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and other specifications.

-Sets up test equipment and conducts tests on performance and reliability of mechanical, structural, or electromechanical equipment.

-Prepare samples for testing.

-Perform UL strength test.

-Perform leak, flow, and cycle tests to engineering, UL, and ISO standards.

-Assist engineers in problem solving.

-Test new and existing parts to qualification test plans.

-Perform refrigerant compatibility test.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Associate's degree in Engineering or related field plus two years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

-Familiarity with laboratory procedures.

-Strong analytical skills.

-Experience with quality control processes.
